The Taste of Life Reimagined
Designed for travelers who have already seen the postcards and landmarks and are now seeking something deeper!
About
Sapore di Vita was born from a shared belief: that Italy isn’t just a place you visit — it’s a way of living that invites you to slow down, savor, and reconnect with what matters.

Created by Fabrizio Serpicelli, an Italian restaurant and hospitality expert with decades of experience in food, wine, and cultural immersion, and Dr. Lindsay Brancato, a psychologist and psychoanalyst with dual Italian and American citizenship, Sapore di Vita blends the richness of Italian tradition with the art of intentional living.

Our experiences are designed for travelers who have already seen the postcards and landmarks — and are now seeking something deeper — as well as those visiting Italy for the first time who are drawn to a meaningful, unhurried, and culturally immersive approach.

We welcome people who want to experience Italy from the inside, through the eyes of locals, artisans, chefs, and winemakers who carry its traditions with authenticity.

Here, the pace slows. Meals stretch into conversations. Beauty isn’t curated — it’s lived. Every moment becomes an invitation back to yourself.

We choose destinations rooted in heritage, select partners who embody the heart of Italian hospitality, and craft experiences that nourish the senses as much as they inspire transformation. Our groups are intimate by design — small gatherings, meaningful connections, and the feeling of stepping into a space designed for you, not for the masses.

Sapore di Vita is more than an experience. It is an immersion into the emotional, cultural, and sensory richness of the Italian way of life — where wellness is woven into food, nature, community, rest, and everyday ritual.

We created this for people who crave depth, beauty, and belonging — for travelers ready to move beyond tourism and step into a truer, slower, more soulful Italy.

Come experience the taste of a life well lived. Benvenuti (welcome) — your Italian chapter begins here.
Where it Began
Sapore di Vita has its roots in a story that began decades ago. In 1998, Fabrizio first extended his hand and offered Lindsay a glimpse into the Italy he loved — a world shaped by connection, hospitality, and the art of savoring life. Neither of them could have known how meaningful that moment would become, or how clearly it foreshadowed the life they would someday build together.

Life carried them along separate paths. Fabrizio spent the next twenty years mastering the craft of restaurant management and hospitality, sharing Italy’s traditions through food, wine, and the kind of warmth that makes people feel instantly at home. Lindsay devoted those same years to studying the mind, the body, and integrative approaches to well-being — the very principles Italians have lived intuitively for generations — while also deepening her connection to her heritage, eventually becoming a dual Italian citizen.

When they reconnected more than twenty years later, something clicked into place: Fabrizio had spent his life living the values Lindsay had spent her life learning and teaching.

Sapore di Vita emerged from this reunion — a blending of lived wisdom and trained wisdom, of cultural inheritance and psychological insight. Together, Lindsay and Fabrizio create Italian experiences that invite their guests not just to see Italy, but to feel it in the way Italians do: through presence, beauty, community, and the joy of savoring life moment by moment.
